When I Got my dog

        When I got my  dog we were coming from my cousin’s house and from her birthday party. Before we left, my mom asked my grandma Who came with us if it was okay if we   went to pick up something.   We went  to a mall and we went inside the mall.     In my mind I was thinking that maybe we’re meeting a dog…                                                   

Because on the way there to my cousin’s house my mom was looking at dogs ,     Then we went out of the mall and that’s when I saw a dog and I said, “She is so so so  CUTE ”. She had no hair around her back  by her tail and You could see her ribs when we met her.    When she was born she was black and white and   her name was Mocha. When we got her we changed it to Roxy.

My mom said, “Are you sure this is the one”,.                                                                As I was petting her I nodded my head up and down,then my dad said,    “we can’t leave her here ,so yes we will take her”,.   When we first brought her home she ran so fast around the backyard and we think she  lived in an apartment.       That’s how I got my doggy .

Dear Future-self,

Hello, how are you today? I have some questions for you. Do you still like mermaids and unicorn? Is my dog Roxy still around? Do you still look like me? Do you still like horses or do you have a horse? How old is your nephew Deklan? 

 

Now I have some things I want to tell you that are very important to me. My dog Roxy and my family are very important to me right now. The covid-19 virus is going around meaning Coronavirus and it’s very bad because people are dying because of it. Barely anyone is wearing a  mask in  the store which worries my mom and my grandma Betty and me! Hopefully life can go back to some kind of normal soon. I miss going to the park and camping overnight or even just getting to see my friends.  

 

Is Grandma Lola the best grandma ever still?  

Is Piper still the best dog ever? 

Is my papa still the best ever ?

Is my mom still the best ever?

Do you still have the coolest water slide ever?

Let’s say you’re helping your community by cleaning up the beach but you’ll be cleaning it forever. You are probably thinking I’m overreacting but you are wrong with each wave there is a row of new plastic or Seaglass, both is Tiny as the sand. You’re probably thinking so what if there’s a lot of plastic and sea glass everywhere but you’re wrong plastic bags hurt sea turtles because  sea turtles eat jellyfish and the plastic bags when they are floating in the water looks like a jellyfish so then they try to eat it but then they just choke and died.  What I think we should do to help prevent all of that is to start using everything like Ziploc bags are reusable just people don’t know it and like  Plastic bags those are reusable but people just throw them away and I think on beaches you should have garbage   Cans and recyclable bins. I think people should stop using plastic bags and start using reusable bags. I think stores should be giving us Reusable bags instead of plastic bags. It is so simple to save Turtles and  I think people should start thinking about turtles more often and that they eat jellyfish so they think plastic bags are jellyfish and maybe soon they’re going to choke and die and soon enough if we don’t stop this right away the turtles are probably going to be extinct one day.  If you like it or not someday I hope people will pitch in and stop the sea life from going extinct and like a fish eats plastic then something eats that fish and now it’s in both of them then what can you do now is it both of them and they both can die from the plastic so I think we should start using reusable stuff, not plastic stuff. So that’s what I think about plastic pollution & Save The Turtles and I hope you guys will help us save them to

In Front Desk one of the themes is kind.                                                      

The first evidence is Mia helped Jason when he was teased  by other Boys. One boy called him Chinese Dough boy. This is important because it shows how  Mia is nice to someone like Jason .

 

  The  second evidence is Mia wrote a note to Lupe to say she was sorry and she told her to enter the contest.  This shows kindness because she is writing a note that is kind.

 

 Mia picked up the phone and try to save her mom and dad from  Mr. Yao . This shows kindness because she is saving her mom and dad from Mr. Yao  because he is mean.

 

  Evidence is Mia would pick up the phone and try to defend Hank from Mr. Yao . This shows kindness because Mr. Yao  is a very bad person.

                             

                     What do you think about Mr. Yao ?

 

My mom said, “ You can get a dog from Grandma Lola.”

        I was so excited her name is Piper and she was the smallest in the group .

  We had to fly on a plane to Alaska and when we got there.

   We had to go and get picked up by my grandma. 

           My Grandma had  our dog with her.  We just went to the side then I got to hold her.

I said, “ Thank you, she is so CUTE and TINY.”

     

Then we got to my grandma’s house I got to play with all the puppies. A couple of days later  we had to go back to Washington also we had to bring some dogs with us to give to people .

 Then we flew to Washington. When we got there we had to put all the puppies into our car than we had to stop on the side of the road to give people their puppies that  they wanted from my Grandma.

 Then about a year later we had to give Piper back to my Grandpa and grandma.

 I was very sad but every time they come to visit I get to see the  puppies.  I’m happy.   They come every winter and they always bring their other dog’s  Teka and Roger and of cores Piper.^_^<_>>-<

The dogs are black labs.
